of new features and technological advances, as well as an expanded model line-up, the new range promises to take the success of Tannoy’s original V Series and raise the bar several notches. With both fixed install and portable sound applications in mind, and with the ground-breaking collaboration between Tannoy and Lab.grup- pen on the self-powered variants, this represents a major product launch for both companies, and marks the dawn of an exciting new level of co-operation between the two leading pro audio brands. Tannoy also announced the launch of the DVS Series, a range of surface mount loudspeakers aimed at fixed installation applications where stylish aesthetic and interior design ethic are just as critical considerations as crystal clear, high quality audio coverage. The range comprises three models – DVS 4, DVS 6 and DVS 8. Yamaha Commercial Audio Europe is to distribute a new line of audio products de- signed for the contractor installation markets, produced exclusively for the company by Spanish manufacturer, Equipson SA. This new collaboration was launched at the show. The new WORKproCA series will include a range of ceiling speakers, active

and passive wall mount loudspeakers, subwoofers, power amplifiers and mixer amplifiers.

At the end of the three day event, on-site exhibitor rebooking had already reached 102% of the 2011 floor plan, proving that this show really is continuing to grow year-on-year. It has been confirmed that the 2012 show will occupy an expanded footprint, with the floor plan already set to include Hall 7, previously unused by the ISE exhibition. At a time when we have become increasingly used to announcements of tradeshow cancellations or postponements, ISE definitely stands in stark contrast. Being amongst the few that have seen significant increases to both exhibitor and visitors numbers over the past couple of years, makes it certain that ISE is definitely one to keep your eye on. ISE will return to the Amsterdam RAI next year and take place from 31 January to 2 February 2012.
