• CASINONITRA In December 2006 the MAX Shopping and Entertainment Centre opened in Nitra and housed on the first floor is the casino. The casino features seven table games including one Blackjack, one Ultimate Texas Hold Em Poker, three Texas Hold Em and two American Roulette and 25 slots. In 2008 Nitra saw total takings of SKK245m (€8.1m) and 6,893 guests.
• CASINOZILINA Casino Zilina is located in the historic town centre on Marian Square and has 92 sq.m of seating space and 42 sq.m of gallery area. It houses 17 slots and five table games including one American Roulette, one Blackjack and three Texas Hold Em. Casino Zilina saw a total amount gambled in 2008 of SKK84m (€2.7m) and 2,996 guests.
REGENCYCASINO This company operates one casino on the second floor of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Hodzovo Square in the heart of Bratislava Old Town. The casino is open daily from 1pm until 5am.
• THEREGENCYCASINO The Regency casino features 20 gaming tables and slot machines such as American Roulette, Blackjack, Texas Hold Em Poker, Regency Draw Poker, Punto Banco, Regency Stud Poker.
OLYMPICENTERTAINMENTGROUP Olympic Casino Slovakia is a subsidiary of OEG which also operates in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Belarus and Romania.
The company began operating in Slovakia in 2008 and as such received the first new casino license to be issued in the country in the last 10 years.
This was followed by a second casino in Trnava in January 2009 and between them the two casinos have 20 table games and 95 slots.
The company has recently been adjusting its activities during this economic climate and closed 49 casinos during the first half of 2009 including 24 casinos in the Ukraine market.

OEG’s revenue for the first nine months of 2009 came to a total of 1,279m kroons (€81.7m). Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland all showed a decrease in revenue from the same period in 2008. However Belarus, Romania and Slovakia showed an increase.
Slovakia saw revenues for the first nine months of 2009 of €5.1m and an operating profit of €0.1m. This is a big increase from 2008 revenues of €1.2m and operating losses of €0.8m.
