DESCRIPTION: This series of 10 classes is the prerequisite and is intended to prepare the participants for the Pilates Basic, Intermediate and reformer classes. Participants will learn how to apply the five essential pilates principles to the classic pilates exercises. Modifications will be identified according to each participants needs. Practicing pilates results in a balanced and aligned body that helps you look fit, feel revitalized and move with ease. In preparation for the open classes, the last two classes will introduce participants to pilates on the ball and use of bands and weights.
