SQUASH


MONDAY NIGHT HOUSE LEAGUE


All levels of play are invited to participate in a fun, social and competitive singles squash league. Levels 1-3 are for highly skilled club level players. Levels 4-6 are for intermediate and level 7 is for beginners. Matches are scheduled and players are required to play at the scheduled time or find a spare at the appropriate level.


REGIONAL LEAGUES


If you are interested in joining a men’s, ladies or juniors singles or doubles team that competes against other GTA clubs in home and away ,matches then you should consider competing on one of ORC’s regional teams. In the Toronto and District singles Squash League we field a men’s D team, ladies A and C team as well as U11, U13, U15 and U17 junior Toronto and District league teams. In the Ontario Doubles squash League we also field men’s division 2 and 4 teams and a ladies division 1 team. Contact the squash office of the captain of the team that you are interested in joining.


SQUASH CALCUTTA


The Calcutta is a fun handicap tournament where teams, each with 3 players of varying levels, are “sold” to investors at an auction prior to the start of the tournament, players are assigned handicaps to level the playing field. Calcutta’s are ran twice a year, Fall and Spring - watch out for the posters and make sure to sign up for this fun event.


LESSONS


Take your game to the next level. ORC’s professional squash staff offers a variety of lesson formats designed to help you reach your competitive goals, increase your enjoyment of the game, and improve your fitness. Areas addressed are technique, tactics, training, fitness and mental toughness. Whether you want to learn singles or doubles squash, win more matches on the ladders and leagues, or increase your enjoyment of the game, lessons will help you get there.


Private- $45 Semi Private- $30 Member Drop-Ins


Show up and play without the hassle of arranging matches ahead of time. The drop-in is a great way for new opponents to play lots of games in a laid back informal setting. Retire to the cORCscrew for a bite and beverage aſterwards. Bear in mind that attendance to the drop-ins fluctuate seasonally and do change with the schedules and inclinations of the attendees.
