Sports Facilities

Our spacious Shoreditch campus provides you with a secure and lively environment to study in. Classrooms and workshops are built around a large courtyard and landscaped gardens with eating areas for those warm summer days.

We’re closer than you think Situated right in the heart of Hoxton, we’re easy to get to. There are several main bus routes you can use, which come from Wood Green, Tottenham, Clapham Junction, Catford, Oxford Circus, Peckham, Edmonton Green, Hackney and the City. We're just a 3 minute walk from Hoxton station, a 10-minute walk from Old Street and a 15-minute walk from Liverpool Street station. From New Cross to Hackney Community College in under 25 minutes!

Diversity Hackney Community College is proud to celebrate diversity and equality in all that we do. We respect differences in race, ethnic culture, gender disability, sexuality, age, religion / belief and social class. We aim to offer support for everyone – no matter what their needs are.

Nursery We have a popular and well-equipped nursery on campus, staffed by experienced, caring, childcare workers with a high level of qualifications. We make sure that your child’s day is spent learning and exploring safely; so activities range from painting and drawing to visits to the library and reading. We try to accommodate as many children as possible, but places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis – although students on some courses are given priority. Please note, a place on a course does not mean you have a nursery place for your child.

How to apply for a nursery place To apply for a place call 020 7613 9181 and we’ll send you an application form and a date for you to come in to talk with us. You can also call this number if you would like to view our nursery facilities.

Nursery fees Our fees depend on whether you are studying on a full or part-time course and what your income is. If you are in receipt of low income or benefits, you may be eligible for our Learner Support Fund subsidy support. To find out more about fees and availability please call us on 020 7613 9070.
