STUDYING at Imperial College
The benefits of a fully-rounded education have always been recognised at Imperial College. Whilst specialising academically in the areas of science, technology and medicine, the College also has a large and flourishing programme of study in the humanities.
Imperial College has its main campus in South Kensington, an area of central London long established as a cultural centre for the arts, sciences and music, and home to three national museums:
the Science Museum, Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
ADMISSIONS
For candidates whose first language is not English, a recognised English language qualification at the appropriate level is required. The minimum general entrance requirements are passes in two subjects at GCSE A level or equivalent qualifications (International Baccalaureate, Selectividad, etc.).
Imperial College, which forms part of the University of London, embodies and delivers world class scholarship, education and research in science, engineering and medicine, with particular regard to their application in industry, commerce and healthcare. Imperial College was established in 1907 through the merger of the Royal College of Science, the City and Guilds College and the Royal School of Mines.
