ONBOARD INNOVATORS Snack happy

Onboard Hospitality is looking for new and innovative players pushing their product onboard. Check out our latest discovery

Everyone loves a success story and at Onboard Hospitality we have been excited to see just how successful small specialist companies can be once onboard a plane, train or cruise line. We’re on the look out for newcomers to the industry, be they young people, young companies or young products: those that may be the faces of tomorrow. So if there is a young innovator in your

company who deserves recognition for his or her commitment or fresh thinking, get in touch and we’ll spread the word, champion your cause and hopefully watch your business as it heads sky high.

OBH Innovator Of The Month Launched onboard with Flybe and easyJet in July this year, Saviour Snacks was set up a year ago as a supplier of healthy snacks.

Founder, Sarah Dembitz, explains: "I

founded Saviour Snacks because I was fed up with having to spend hours hunting for clean, healthy and tasty snacks. I was constantly working late, travelling with work and trying to keep on top of my busy life and got so frustrated with the lack of choice around. Three things happened - my brain shrank, my bum grew and I was always feeling sluggish. “Saviour Snacks has been designed to

provide people short on time with a healthy option for snacking, as well as a

way to find an exciting new snacks brand." The products in the range all have to meet the Saviour Standard – a robust two-stage screening process that examines the overall nutritional profile of each snack as well as ensuring it meets the company’s seven ‘nutritional non-negotiables’ created by Lisa, their in-house nutritional therapist: • No trans fats • No hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated fats

• No artificial additives, colours or preservatives

• No genetically modified foods

• No high fructose corn syrup • No MSG • ONLY real ingredients that you can pronounce Those passing the test range from popcorn and energy balls, lemon almonds and raw chocolate to rosemary corn cupcakes and many more. The company offers a range of box options including gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian or vegan and can be tailored to meet a company's needs. savioursnacks.com Send your innovator to: julie.baxter@ onboard hospitality.com
