surprises you about the business? The industry talks a lot


about customer experience yet the infl ight experience has changed very little. The moment a customer books a ticket until they arrive at their destination very little is done to ensure they have a great experience. There is a huge opportunity to change this in a way that pleases customers and delivers great


profi ts to airlines. Another


surprise is that the technology systems in place today to support the pre-fl ight and infl ight experiences


are either non- existent or archaic and


under supported. Vendors focused on infl ight POS systems, for


example, have underinvested
