SUMMER CAMP GUIDE 2012 PRESCHOOL CONSTRUCTION ZONE


4 - 5 years old | $270/$300 Session 6 & 9

This build-it camp (preschool style) is for the four and five year old child who loves wood working. Children will be using wood, nails, paint and more to discover how to build exciting creations that even the youngest child can be successful with. Safety will be emphasized in the wood working area! CHILDREN MUST WEAR CLOSED-TOE SHOES. Other activities include outside games and art. Children will also take a visit to the YMCA Splash Pad.


PRESCHOOL EXTENDED DAY


3 - 5 years old | $50/$70 Session 4* & 11


This new option gives your family more flexibility and options for a longer preschool experience. Children will participate in a variety of self-directed activities in the classroom and on the playground. To join this program, your child must be enrolled in a full day preschool camp and you must pay in full at the time of registration. Late afternoon snack will be provided.


PRESCHOOL FANTASY IN ACTION


3 - 5 years old | $255/$285 Session 5 & 7

Calling all performers! This camp will focus on favorite childhood fantasies in literature through Dramatic Play. Children will have the opportunity to dress up and act out many adventures such as pirates, magical animals and fairies. Other activities will include a visit from a special Story Teller and a visit to the YMCA Splash Pad.

Do you have a little artist just waiting to express themselves? Your child will have the opportunity to experiment with color, shape, design and texture. He/she will be using their hands and feet to create masterpieces including 3-dimensional art using paper, wire, clay, paint, glue, clay, glitter, scissors and more. All of those fun but messy projects can be done at camp instead of home! Children will also have fun in the sun, participate in a Magic Show by Abby and TJ Productions and visit the YMCA Splash Pad.


PRESCHOOL GREEN RAINFOREST


3 - 5 years old | $270/$300 Session 10


Half Day 8:30 am - 1:30 pm $250/$280


Your child will learn fun and exciting ways they can help the environment. Your child will learn about the rainforest and interact with animals they can help. Pacific Animal Productions will conduct an educational and interactive show for your child during the week. Some of the animals include a monkey, parrot and iguana. Other activities will include outside games, art and a visit to the YMCA Splash Pad.
