Ahoy Matey! Learn to rule the high seas just like Captain Jack Sparrow. Find hidden treasure, pretend to have battles and have great pirate themed adventures. This camp is great for younger campers with an imagination.
ITTY BITTY PRINCESS
Kindergarten | $230/$276 Sessions 5 | YMCA
Live your dream as a princess for a week! Campers will live their fantasy for a full week making princess crafts, playing princess games, learning princess etiquette, reading about all the Disney princesses and reenacting princess stories! Arimaw Productions staff will lead campers in this fantasy week where young girls can have a week of memories that will live happily ever after.
ITTY BITTY SPLASH
Kindergarten | $230/$276 Sessions 3, 5, 11 | YMCA
Make a splash! If your camper wants to learn how to swim and loves the water, this is the camp for your kindergartner! Itty Bitty Splash camp will provide your camper with one 45-minute group swimming lesson each day with YMCA swim instructors. Campers will learn basic strokes, how to float and tread water. Campers will end the day with a 45 minute “free swim” to play and have fun with the entire camp. Campers will also have the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities like arts and crafts, songs and games. Swimmers may be required to wear lifejackets during free swim.
ITTY BITTY SUPERHEROES
Kindergarten | $230/$276 Session 2, 7 | YMCA
We need you to save the YMCA’s camps! Become a superhero and create superpowers of your own, create your very own superhero cape and learn magic tricks while battling the evil villains. In the midst of all the fun, campers will also be able to create their own costumes and become a real superhero. This fantasy camp is perfect for your kindergartener!
JEWELRY MAKING
1st - 5th Grade | $223/$268 Session 5 | Ada Harris
Become the next big Jewelry Designer! Campers have one week to design and create a complete collection of earrings, rings, necklaces, hair clips and so much more! Jewelry designs will be made from stones, rocks, chains, string, paper clips and a host of other surprise supplies. Each camper will walk away with many projects from their new collection!
JUNKYARD DRUMMING
1st – 5th Grade | $220/$265 Sessions 9 | Ada Harris
Is it rhythmic or ruckus? Either way it is fun! Use pots, pans, tubs and other household items to create beats in a unique type of drum circle. Spend two hours a day learning junkyard drumming and music from experts that partner with YMCA camps staff. Spend the rest of the day exploring with traditional camp activities and other musical instruments.
JUNKYARD WARS
2nd - 5th Grade | $223/$268 Sessions 2, 5 | YMCA
Just like the hit TV show, join a team and build the ultimate structures out of scraps of junk! Guided by experts, campers will participate in teams to build the coolest machines, bridges, sky scrapers, outfits and inventions out of all kinds of recycled goods. This camp is a favorite for those looking to expand their imagination, build their teamwork skills and develop some of the best new inventions.
