SUMMER CAMP GUIDE 2012


EXTENDED DAY CAMP GENERAL INFORMATION


The Extended Day Camp program gives your family more flexibility and options for a longer camp experience. The program provides a morning session running from 6:30–8:00 am and afternoon session from 3:00-6:00 pm. The morning session provides a variety of low-active stations for children arriving before camp hours. The afternoon session includes full camp programming and on-site supervision at the camp’s location. Campers who choose to participate in the Extended Day Camp must pay in full at the time of registration. This program is only offered on a weekly basis and includes an afternoon snack.


EXTENDED DAY CAMP - TRADITIONAL AT YMCA & ADA HARRIS


All Ages | $58/$70 Sessions 1 - 11, Aug. 27 & 28 | YMCA


All Ages | $58/$70 Sessions 2 - 10 | Ada Harris


Extended Day campers will continue the fun into the afternoon by participating in a variety of after-camp activities! Activities include visits from special guests, arts and crafts, sports games and songs. Every day, our Extended Day Camp staff will ensure that your child leaves with a smile! This camp is designed so parents can pick up anytime during the program to create a hassle-free experience. Please note that parents picking up for Extended Day may not use the drive through pick-up system.


EXTENDED DAY – SKATE


1st - 10th Grade | $70/$85 Sessions 2 - 10 | YMCA


After a full day of camp, campers will be escorted by YMCA staff to our world-class skate park for an afternoon of dropping in and perfecting their skating skills! All participants must bring full equipment. For more information regarding Extended Day Skate, please contact Heather Tate at ext. 1038. To participate in this program, your camper must be registered for a camp that has drop off and pick up at the YMCA. Snack will be provided. Full equipment includes helmet, elbow pads, knee pads and recommended wrist guards.
