This camp is right up your “alley.” The YMCA and Surf Bowl of Oceanside have teamed up again this summer to give campers a great week of bowling. Each day will consist of specialized instruction and bowling workshops as well as instruction in scorekeeping, etiquette and more. Campers will be throwing strikes for two and a half hours every day with traditional camp activities to round out their experience. Socks are required.

Put on your tool belt and get ready to build! This is a practical, productive and rewarding camp for kids who want to work with wood and tools. Expert instructor Shelia Dawson brings her rolling woodshop classroom for a week of sawing, sanding, drilling and nailing. Campers will create floating, flying and rolling projects using safe and effective hand tools. All wood, tools and safety glasses are provided but campers must wear closed-toe shoes daily.
CAMP ADVENTURE
5th - 8th Grade | $193/$233 | Sess. 1, 2, 3, 11, Aug. 27 & 28 | YMCA
Get ready for a full week of exploring fun and exciting attractions in the San Diego area! Camp Exploration will travel all around San Diego to see the best kid-focused field trip spots while playing games, singing songs and other fun-filled camp activities. Destinations change weekly and include locations like Dave & Busters, rock climbing and laser tag.
CAMP EXPLORATION

Join the ultimate adventure for the summer! Camp Adventure is a great opportunity to see what San Diego has to offer for age-appropriate field trips and create new experiences and friendships for your camper. Destinations change weekly and include great locations like Legoland Sea Aquarium, Boomers! and bowling.
CAMP H2O
2nd - 7th Grade | $203/$243 | Session 2 - 4*- 11 | YMCA
Slide down the Summit Express, bounce on the floating trampoline, canoe across the lagoon, fly off the blob and hunt for crabs! For four days, campers travel to the YMCA’s Aquatic Park to swim, kayak, paddleboat, fish and play with all the inflatables in the lagoon. To add even more excitement and adventure, Camp H2O will travel to The Wave Waterpark for a day of fun in the sun and slides! All staff are lifeguard certified. Regardless of ability, all campers will wear life jackets while in the water. Campers must wear sturdy shoes for time spent on shore.

A $20 late fee will be applied to all registrations the Thursday before the camp begins.
