SUMMER CAMP GUIDE 2012 AMERICAN GIRL - NEW!
1st - 5th Grade | $230/$276 Sessions 3, 5 | Ada Harris
Take an adventure with the American Girl Doll Stories. Using the different stories as our guide, we will walk through history learning all about our favorite American Girls. Become a journalist like Kit and learn to sew like Addy. You are welcome to bring your dolls if you would like but they are not required.
ANIMAL ADVENTURE
1st - 5th Grade | $213/$255 | Sessions 4, 10 | Ada Harris
Join us for a week of wildlife adventures and become an animal expert! Your child will encounter the animals in the local animal kingdom at places like the San Diego Zoo, the Birch Aquarium, Take Flight, Legoland Sea Life Aquarium and Barnyard Cuties Petting Zoo. This camp provides the perfect balance between learning and exciting interaction with the animals!
ANIMAL EXPLORATION
1st - 5th Grade | $233/$279 | Sessions 2, 5 | Ada Harris
You’re the expert when you hold, see and feed up to 50 different kinds of animals at the Escondido Humane Society. Some animals may include puppies, kittens, bunnies, snakes, lizards, llamas, insects, tortoises, horses, goats, sheep and other farm animals based on availability. Trained Escondido Humane Society staff members will be sure to bring your camper up-close and personal with all types of animals! Campers must wear closed-toe shoes daily to this camp.
ARCHERY
3rd - 6th Grade | $213/$253 | Sessions 7, 9, 10 | Ada Harris
Half Day 8:00 am - 12:15 pm $130/$163 Pick-up at Ada Harris
You’ve hit the bull’s-eye with this camp! Learn how to properly shoot a bow and arrow with Archery House’s experts! Campers will be taught proper archery technique and equipment handling for 2 hours a day with all the equipment included. The remaining portion of the day will include fun fi lled group games, crafts, sport challenges and fi eld trips to local parks.
ART
1st - 3rd Grade | $228/$272 Sessions 2, 6 | Ada Harris
Build your camp portfolio and become a Jr. Picasso in Art Camp! Designed to provide the best artistic experience we have to offer, campers will learn drawing techniques, begin basic sculpting projects, experiment with different painting techniques and develop an understanding of their own styles. Campers should be prepared to come home with colors all over their hands and clothes as their imagination comes to life in this art camp.
ASTRONAUT – NEW!

Sign up to take a trip to the farthest reaches of the universe! Explore solar systems and reach for the stars as you construct and launch your own rockets. Use teamwork to complete an important space mission and build a model space station. This camp is your ticket to the moon and the stars as you journey through the galaxy and bring home your scientifi c creations!
