SUMMER CAMP GUIDE 2012 MULTI - SPECIALTY

Can’t decide between your favorite camps? No problem! Multi-Specialty camp combines some of our most popular camps! This camp will spend half of each day participating with the vendors of specialty camps providing campers the chance to see what all of our week-long specialty camps have to offer. Campers will bowl, rock climb, ice skate, experience radical reptiles and karate. Each camper will have a truly special experience exploring the best of all of our specialty camps!
MULTI-SPORT
1st – 5th Grade | $173/$208 Sessions 1, 2, 5, Aug. 27 & 28 | YMCA
Why pick one sport when you can do them all? Campers will be exposed to recreational skills building and fun games in basketball, baseball, soccer, fl ag football, swimming and more. Counselors will focus on sportsmanship and encourage all campers to try new sports. Become a true athlete!
MUSICAL THEATER THE LITTLE MERMAID – NEW!
2nd – 5th Grade | $443/$536 Sessions 7 & 8 | Ada Harris | 2 week camp
Join the cast in our musical theatre! This awesome two week camp is sure to impress. Campers will go through all the steps of a major performance from auditions, to costumes, learning scripts and a grand fi nale performance for family and friends on stage. Arimaw Productions partners with the YMCA to teach acting, singing and choreography. Break a leg!
ONE DAY FUN DAY CAMP OPTION
Single Day options allow campers and families the fl exibility to join the YMCA’s camp while only committing one day at a time. Try out a program and join the fun without a week-long commitment.

ONE DAY FUN DAY – DISCOVERY K - 2nd Grade | $47/$60 Sessions 1 – 12 | YMCA
These younger campers join our traditional day camp “Discovery.” For a further description of Discovery Camp, please refer to page 18.
ONE DAY FUN DAY – ADVENTURE
1st - 6th Grade | $57/$69 | Sessions 1 – 12 | YMCA
These campers join our Camp Adventure, Camp Exploration, Wacky Water Week or Wild Water Week depending on the age of the camper and the week offered. For a further description, please refer to the specifi c camp.
ONE DAY FUN DAY – SPORTS
1st – 5th Grade | $52/$65 Sessions 1 – 12 | YMCA
Join other athletes for the day. These campers will join our recreational sport camps like Multi-Sport, Soccer, Baseball, Basketball or Flag Football depending on the week offered. Come prepared with athletic shoes and appropriate active clothing. We will provide the rest of the equipment.
ONE DAY FUN DAY - TEENS – NEW!
7th – 10th Grade | $52/$65 | Sessions 2 – 10 | Ada Harris
Teenagers might not want to be in a week-long camp. Allow them the freedom to look at our scheduling for Teen Scene and Extreme Teen to fi gure out which days they would like to join camp.
