Bedford, VA, Lodge members gave a winter jacket to each of 15 veterans at the Virginia Veterans Care Center. The lodge also donated several boxes of books and magazines to the center. and New Lexington Lodges and the South Central District, held a Veter- ans Christmas Party at the lodge for more than 100 veterans from the Chillicothe VA Medical Center and treated them to dinner, patriotic displays, and a sing-along. Lodge members also presented each veteran with six wrapped gifts.


Coshocton, OH, Lodge held its annual Veterans Dinner and treated 100 veterans, family members, and friends to a meal.


Dayton, OH, Lodge members treated 20 veterans from the Dayton VA Medical Center to the 12th annual Veterans Day Dinner at the lodge. Lodge members also treated the veterans to patriotic displays and patriotic musical entertainment and gave each veteran some small gifts.


Fremont, OH, Lodge members treated 21 veterans from the Ohio Veterans Home to dinner and bingo games at the lodge. The lodge also donated 50 decks of playing cards to the home.


Indian Lake, OH, Lodge members attended a Veterans Day Ceremony at a local AMVETS post and paid tribute to the sacrifices made by America’s veterans. Lodge members and AMVETS members also traveled to

Heartland of Indian Lake Rehab, a local nursing home, where they visited 11 resident veterans. Lodge members presented the veterans with more than $1,000 worth of gifts.


Okmulgee, OK, Lodge members, with the help of scouts from Boy Scout Troop No. 289, treated 50 veterans to a Veterans Dinner at the lodge.


Tulsa, OK, Lodge donated $1,000 that was raised at a USO Variety Show fund-raiser to the Oklahoma Veterans Center–Talihina.


In other news, the lodge donated the use of its lodge grounds to the Tulsa Air National Guard Retiree Association for an Awards Ceremony.


Coquille Valley, OR, Lodge held its annual Veterans Day Breakfast and treated 88 veterans to a meal.


Florence, OR, Lodge members treated 19 veterans from the Roseburg VA medical facility to lunch, bingo games, and small gifts.

Lakeview, OR, Lodge held a Veterans Appreciation Dinner and treated more than 240 veterans, family members,


Seaside, OR, Lodge, with the help of scouts from Cub Scout Pack No. 540, hosted a Veterans Day Flag-Raising Ceremony for the community and treated the approximately 60 people who attended to refreshments. In other news, the lodge held a Veterans Night Dinner and treated about 200 veterans and guests to a meal, patriotic speeches, and patriotic musical entertainment by the Astoria High School Brass Quintet. Lodge members also awarded door prizes to many of the attendees.


East Stroudsburg, PA, Lodge mem- bers, with the help of Antlers Program members, members of the local American Legion post, and members of the East Stroudsburg South High School field hockey team, placed more than 1,000 US flags on the graves of veterans at the Prospect Street Cemetery for Veterans Day. In other news, lodge members erected a Field of Honor in front of the lodge. The field consists of US flags, each of which is dedicated to a specific veteran or active duty serviceman or woman.


In more news, the lodge held a Veterans Day Luncheon and treated nearly 90 veterans and guests to a meal at the lodge.


Hazleton, PA, Lodge members dedicated a Veterans and Fallen Heroes Monument in front of the lodge in honor of all veterans. The monu- ment places special emphasis on those veterans who died in the service of the country. More than 100 people attended the dedication ceremony.


Pottstown, PA, Lodge held its second annual Veterans Banquet and treated the 85 veterans and guests who attended to dinner and patriotic lectures. The lodge also set aside
