Liverpool, NY, Lodge held its 22nd annual Music Fest fund-raiser, which featured food, games, raffles, and live musical entertainment, and raised more than $10,000 for the state major project, which supports the Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State.
Harrison-East Newark, NJ, Lodge held a Halloween Dance fund-raiser and raised $1,500 for the Harrison Fireman’s Mutual Benevolent Association to support the association’s Christmas luncheon for seniors. Camillus, NY, Lodge held a Youth Golf Tournament, in which 15 golfers ages 19 and under participated, and treated the players to lunch. Lodge members awarded trophies to the top two winners in each age-group, Caleb Brigham (first place, 16–19), Stuart Winn (first place, 12–15), Adam Korzeniewski (second place, 12–15), Trae Flynn (first place, U–12), and Nick Cantello (second place, U–12).
Cohoes-Waterford, NY, Lodge held a Flag-Retirement Ceremony and respectfully disposed of more than 30 damaged and worn US flags.
Glens Falls, NY, Lodge held two Buffet Breakfast fund-raisers, which were each attended by about 65 people, and raised a total of more than $1,230 for the lodge’s Youth Activities Committee. The lodge also held a Dinner fund-raiser and raised more than $430 for the Elks National Foundation.
Homer, NY, Lodge members gave dictionaries to 140 third-grade students at Homer Intermediate School and Hartnett Elementary School. Lodge members also gave thesauruses to 200 seventh-grade students at Homer Junior High School.

Hoboken, NJ, Lodge members attended a Court of Honor Ceremony for new Eagle Scout Francis Howitt, of Boy Scout Troop No. 146, and gave him a certificate and a US flag. The lodge also paid $375 to sponsor Howitt to attend the New Jersey Elks Youth Leadership Conference. For his Eagle Scout Project, Howitt led a project that created a meditation garden by clearing an unused yard at St. Francis Church, repainting walls, and installing patio furniture.
