Peru, IN, Lodge members treated 140 members of the Peru High School choir to dinner following their perfor- mance at a lodge ceremony. The lodge also gave the choir a letter of thanks and a $100 donation.
Fairfield, IA, Lodge members cel- ebrated the lodge’s 100th anniversary with a banquet, which was attended by 14 past state presidents, the current state president, and a Past Grand Exalted Ruler.

Ocean City, MD, Lodge members distributed more than 360 dictionaries to third-grade students at five elemen- tary schools.
Arlington, MA, Lodge held a Cookout and Toy Drive for the Boston Children’s Hospital and gathered more than 200 toys to be donated to the hospital.
In other news, lodge members distributed nearly 440 dictionaries to third-grade students at seven elemen- tary schools.
Billerica, MA, Lodge members delivered a Thanksgiving basket containing a turkey and side dishes to each of 45 needy families.
Chelmsford, MA, Lodge donated and shipped 36 care packages to US troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Franklin, MA, Lodge held a George Woods Golf Tournament fund-raiser
and raised more than $5,000 to support the lodge’s George Woods Scholarship Fund.
In other news, the lodge set aside $1,300 that was raised at a Meat Shoot fund-raiser for a fund to help the families of deployed soldiers pay their winter heating costs. The lodge also held an Elks on Tour fund-raiser, which featured a bus trip to visit the Winthrop, Gloucester, and Billerica Lodges. The outing raised more than $500 for the Elks National Founda- tion. The lodge also held a Halloween Party and treated 70 children to entertainment by a magician and goody bags full of treats. honored 11-year-old Aaron Frongillo for finishing first in the U–12 division at the Area 1 regional Soccer Shoot during the lodge’s Thanksgiving Break-fast and gave him a jacket and a gift card.
Greenfield, MA, Lodge donated 57 turkeys to the Franklin Area Survival Center for needy families.
Massachusetts Elks Association members visited New York Fire Department No. 10 and Ground Zero in New York City to pay tribute to the thousands of people who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
