Frederick, MD, Lodge held its annual Veterans Bingo and Lun- cheon and provided lunch and bingo games at the lodge for 49 veterans, including 42 veterans being treated at the Martinsburg, WV, VA Medical Center and 7 veterans residing at the Montevue Home. During the Viet- nam War, Rager was in-volved in an operation that rescued Morris’s infantry company.


Kent Island, MD, Lodge held a Veterans Buffet Breakfast, treated 24 local veterans to a meal, gave each veteran a pin, and gave one of the veterans a free dinner for two. Wallingford, CT, Lodge, with the help of members of the Lyman Hall High School girls’ football team, held its annual Veterans Breakfast and treated about 45 veterans to a meal.


Selbyville, DE, Lodge members visited the Home of the Brave, which provides transitional housing to homeless veterans, and treated 13 resident veterans to a Thanksgiving meal. Lodge members gave each veteran an armed forces pin and donated 40 books, $375 worth of gift cards, and some toiletries to the home.


Deland, FL, Lodge held a Veterans Breakfast, which 39 local veterans attended.


Circle District, MA, lodges held their annual Veterans Dinner at the Weymouth Lodge and treated 200 veterans to a meal. During the dinner, Weymouth Lodge member Cynthia Cummings gave a sweatshirt she had received from Carepacks, which is a charity that sends care packages to US troops overseas, to veteran Richard August after he offered to buy it from her. Cummings is pictured fitting August with his new sweatshirt.

Hollywood West, FL, Lodge hosted 15 veterans and six staff members from the Alexander Sandy Nininger State Veterans Nursing Home and treated them to dinner and games featuring ball caps as prizes. The lodge also donated 26 bags of toiletries and clothing to the home.
