LAUREN’S DEVELOPMENTAL PRESCHOOL
Toby Wells Lauren’s Developmental Preschool at Toby Wells YMCA is curriculum based on “Playing to Learn”. This program is our guide to quality care and education of young children ages 2-5 years old.
The cornerstone of this curriculum is children’s play, which is understood to be essential to the healthy social and cognitive development of all children. We understand play to be the foundation for learning to read and write, and for learning mathematics, science, and technology.
In addition to the classroom, all children enrolled in Lauren’s Developmental Preschool at Toby Wells YMCA will have two 30-minute swim lessons (3+ years of age) provided by YMCA certified swim instructors and two 45-minute gymnastics tumbling classes provided by YMCA certified gymnastics instructors. The children will have access to an age-appropriate playground and all families will receive a family membership to the Toby Wells YMCA which is valued at $900 a year.
Full-Time Program (6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Monday - Friday; Year-round
