INSIGHT VIRTUAL SPORTS - LEAP GAMING

Where are the areas for improvement in the future development of virtual sports?

First and foremost, there is a huge room for improvement in terms of content. Tere are so many sports out there that are currently not being offered in the form of virtual sports.

Also, and this is food for thought, even the creation of virtual sports that do not even exist in the real world is possible. Tis is not an easy task because one needs to consider sports popularity, whether they will be positively perceived amongst the users and if we can do them justice by offering them as virtual sports.

Another area for improvement will be more branded content in terms of virtual sports. We believe the sporting federations are now taking notice of virtual sports and we can use that to our advantage. Such partnerships will be beneficial for both. On the virtual sports aspect we will be offering easily recognisable content to our users, and on the federations side is free promotion of their product.

Market offering is another area that can be improved. Virtual sports providers can become more innovative and offer markets that are not yet offered by tradition bookmakers. We need to keep the users engaged, educate them in the use and significance of virtual sports, without making any compromises in the product. Even though there are a lot of things that can be improved, our motto is always quality over quantity.

Finally, UI changes will become a necessity in the near future to accommodate user needs. Technology progresses in a fast pace and users are raising the bar in terms of the products they support. UI few years ago was not as important as the market offers but now it becomes as important. Leap Gaming takes this very seriously and we are preparing to meet our user’s needs.

It is easy to start offering a huge array of sports but if that happens too fast it will compromise quality. And Leap Gaming has always been known for their quality services.

Virtual sports appeal to bettors because of its simplicity and familiarity to traditional sports betting. Is there a risk of overcomplicating it?

Tere is always that risk. But on the other hand, a company that believes in their product needs to take calculated risks to take their product to the next level. With the technological advances of today, one has endless possibilities of portraying virtual sports. But we need to consider the users, as they are the ones that will make the product successful or not.

Virtual sports need to be simple so anyone can use them, but at the same time that does not mean they cannot be developed. We can focus on animations, user experience, on maybe introducing different bet types but keeping also in mind how the traditional sports betting works and not deviate too much from that. Simple but
