Relocation Paying off for Spielbank Berlin


Norway - CT Gaming cruising with Seagaming CT Gaming continues to expand its market reach with new installations aboard cruise ships with partner Seagaming. A variety of slot machines from the manufacturer's rich portfolio were purchased by the Norwegian company and are already available at Holland Norway Lines, traveling between Norway, Kristiansand and Eemshaven in Holland.


"This is a natural continuation of our market presence with Seagaming, which began six years ago. Italy - Greentube partners with Eurobet Greentube has bolstered its position in Italy after agreeing to a partnership with Eurobet. Players of the Entain-owned operator will gain access to a host of Greentube games, including classic slots Book of Ra, Lucky Lady’s Charm and Dolphin’s Pearl deluxe.


The brand will also be able to enjoy newer Greentube titles including Diamond Link and Cash Connection series of slots. Italy has long been a key market for Greentube, with key acquisitions in the region recently including Capecod and Admiral Sport. Greece - MGM sweeps back into Elliniko IR Hard Rock International looks to have reingnited the stalled €6bn Elliniko resort casino destined for Greece with a concession agreement to operate a casino. The IRC Athens consortium, including GEK TERNA and Hard Rock, has secured the licence for the next 30 years at a price of €150m.


Hard Rock was beaten in the initial tender for the casino by Mohegan International in 2019. Hard Rock contested the tender, but Mohegan held strong before eventually pulling out of the project. Hard Rock is now understood to hold 51 per cent of the project with Greek construction giant GEK TERNA holding 49 per cent. The consortium will invest €950m on developing the casino, a hotel, a conference center and a sports facility.


The project will now need the seal of approval from the Greek government with the aim of building permits being issued by early 2023. The build is likely to take three years.

Spielbank Berlin relocated to the capital’s Kurfurstendamn in 2021 after first opening its doors in 1975 and is performing strongly despite Covid interruptions.


A year after relocating to its new location in Kurfürstendamm, Spielbank Berlin has shifted into the black. With an average of 500 visitors a day, the newest of the four locations in the capital ranks second amongst the competition.

Evoplay has announced its latest expansion deal with Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG). Te long-term deal was signed to enable the supply of a range of Evoplay’s top- performing games to Fortuna’s first brands, including its Croatian-facing PSK Casino.


Following the agreement, PSK Casino will have access to 43 games from Evoplay’s portfolio - 31 slots and 12 instant games, including recent hits Penalty Shoot-Out, and long-term staples Ice Mania and Jelly Boom, which were designed specifically to facilitate the preferences of local players.
