DS Virtual’s portfolio has always reflected that mindset. While some companies flood the market with new releases hoping one finds traction, DS Virtual has remained selective. “Time is the most expensive investment,” Sargsyan says. “We prefer to invest heavily in one product we believe in, rather than spread ourselves thin.” Tat focus has helped maintain strong relationships with partners who rely on predictability as much as innovation.
Tose partnerships also shaped one of DS Virtual’s most significant moves this year: the launch of the company’s own terminal solution in collaboration with MIKKA GmbH. While DS Virtual Gaming is a software provider, MIKKA is responsible for the hardware supply and is the company that works directly with suppliers such as Novomatic and Playtech. Tis partnership marks a new phase for DS Virtual, positioning its content more firmly in the land-based gaming environment that still underpins virtual product success.
“Land-based remains essential,” Sargsyan underlines. “Terminals bridge the gap between broadcast-only experiences and interactive play. Tey teach players the behaviour they’ll later use online.”
Tese terminals, weighing around 100 kilograms and built for constant gameplay rotation, can run DS Virtual’s content or third-party titles. Tat openness reflects Sargsyan’s emphasis on partner success as the shared foundation of DS Virtual’s growth.
Early deployments, including with Maxbet, have validated that approach. “Tey see it as completing the full solution - cashier systems, ticket solutions, self-service, and now our own terminals,” Araksi adds.

DS Virtual is extending this hardware strategy into Africa and Latin America, though each market requires its own considerations. Brazil, for example, demands local assembly or certification before hardware can be deployed. Namibia became the first market to receive DS Virtual’s new terminals, and operators there had been actively waiting for the fully integrated DS Virtual bundle.
Across these regions terminals serve not just as devices but as a transitional stage in player development, explains Araksi. “Players move from only watching transmissions to interacting directly with the product. It makes the eventual online offering much stronger.”
While technology continues to shape the industry - particularly artificial intelligence - DS Virtual’s approach to AI remains measured. Te company uses it internally, but not at the expense of people. “Replacing teams with AI leads to the loss of expertise and trust,” Araksi says. “You end up rebuilding culture for years. Our strategy is to enhance our team, not replace it.”
As the company prepares for ICE, Sargsyan describes DS Virtual’s message as straightforward. Te company is not chasing trends or remaking itself; it is strengthening what already defines it. Te new game teaser will draw attention, but the broader narrative is about consistency, long-term thinking, and maintaining a clear identity.
