TCSJohnHuxley Acquires Midwest Games


TCSJohnHuxley is to acquire Midwest Game Supply from Charles and Linda Sohm, a worldwide distributor of dice.


Established since 1945, Midwest Game Supply is a manufacturer and distributer of dice covering the US market.

TCSJohnHuxley has signed an irrevocable undertaking to purchase all the issued and outstanding shares in Midwest Game Supply from Charles P. and Linda L. Sohm.


Te transaction, subject to the usual regulatory approvals, is expected to close by Q1 2022.


Established since 1945, Midwest Game Supply is recognised manufacture and distribution of dice with a worldwide customer base covering the whole of the US to Singapore and beyond. Additional product lines include layouts and accessories.


TCSJohnHuxley and Midwest Game Supply have enjoyed a successful relationship over many years, so it was therefore a natural fit when Linda and Charles Sohm decided to retire and enjoy their silver years.

Scientific Games has boosted its OpenGaming content by signing an exclusive deal with Playzido to offer its content to operators in regulated markets across the US, Europe and Canada. Te agreement will see the games supplier bring its Banijay branded Deal Or No Deal titles to the OpenGaming content aggregation platform, including upcoming release Deal Or No Deal Bankers Riches Megaways. Launched in 2018, Playzido is a game supplier and open RGS platform operating in markets globally. As well as developing its own titles, the company also supports an expanding roster of independent studios, currently numbering 12, and helps bring their games to market. Tis month, Playzido has gone live with their first OpenGaming operator partner, one of the largest online gaming and lottery providers in Canada, with the roll-out continuing across regulated markets worldwide later this year.


US – Maryland’s Sports Wagering Application Review Commission (SWARC) has awarded five sports betting licences to five casinos; Hollywood Casino in Perryville, which is partnering with Barstool Sports; Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore who is part of Caesars; Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover who will work with FanDuel Sportsbook; MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, who will work with BetMGM and Ocean Downs Casino in Berlin, who will work with TwinSpires.

CALIFORNIA – IGT is expanding its sport betting footprint in Arizona via a multi-year agreement with Cliff Castle Casino in Camp Verde, Arizona.


IGT PlaySports technology and trading advisory services will power Cliff Castle Casino's retail sportsbook, enabling casino guests to place pre- match and in-game wagers over the counter or at the venue's self-service PlaySports Kiosks.
