Aggregators: one- stop casino shops
Game providers and casino content aggregators undoubtedly enjoy mutually beneficial partnerships, but where exactly does live casino sit within a platform next to slots and other verticals? When gaming partners in the live dealer space is into the double figures, how do aggregators manage the balance between offering the most popular live casino games worldwide with smaller, up-and-coming studios offering hyper-localised and specific content.
G3 enlists the expertise of Stian Enger, CEO of CasinoEngine, and Andrew MacLean, VP of Sales at Pariplay, explain the main drivers and challenges of managing live portfolios during a period of accelerated growth.
How important is flexibility in the entertainment options providers look to offer their clients?
Andrew MacLean, VP of Sales at Pariplay: Flexibility is essential. Operators everywhere face a common need to differentiate themselves from the competition to offer a particular and memorable value proposition to their players, while also adapting to each country’s particular needs and preferences.
Having local knowledge is hugely beneficial and is becoming more important to stand out from the crowd. Quality is overtaking quantity in terms of the content that operators can offer

their players and ensuring your games offering is tailored and catering to the local audience is key.
Although not always super distinct, every country presents some differences in player preferences. Uniqueness is another big challenge and exclusive content can help operators attract players to their sites and ensure they stay.
Overall, operators need to be vigilant and analyse their players’ behaviour and be able to adapt their offering to suit the demand. Tis includes being flexible on everything from verticals and products, to themes, mechanics, and features.
Stian Enger, CEO of CasinoEngine: A wide selection of content is naturally important, as different clients might have different needs based on their target markets. Tere are distinct differences in player preferences across regions and continents. If a provider is to cater to clients in multiple markets, the portfolio must also reflect that.
Another important aspect is speed to market. When an operator wants to add a new brand, they want that as quickly as possible, whether the content in question is already integrated with the providing platform or not. Delivering content swiftly is key either way.
Stian Enger, CEO, CasinoEngine
How is this reflected in your current portfolio of content partners?
Stian: CasinoEngine currently offers content from 22 live casino providers, and as we speak, four more providers are in integration. CasinoEngine completes around 25 integrations per year, and the live content represents a healthy portion of that.
We carefully pick these providers, and the main drivers are the needs of existing and new clients in combination with our wish to broaden our live portfolio. Having all the classic table games goes without a saying.
Still, we also want to stay on top of the innovation in terms of new and existing games and concepts, such as game shows and localised game types and dealer languages and premium, bespoke and branded tables. We strive to have a rich live portfolio, which is much more than a mere number of games on offer.
Andrew: Our portfolio is not only the most comprehensive you can find from an aggregator right now in the industry, but we are also focusing on bringing studios on board that deliver customised, localised content, who know their market and who can deliver a unique offer.

Where does live casino sit within your solution/platform?
Stian: All content in the CasinoEngine platform is registered and managed similarly, regardless of vertical. In other words, live casino sits right next to RNG slots and other traditional casino game types, lottery, bingo, virtual sports, and other content that together constitute CasinoEngine's unrivalled portfolio.
Andrew: Live casino has become a major part of the online casino vertical worldwide, so
