LASER COMPONENTS
Bedford, NH — LASER COMPO- NENTS launches a new series of laser power detectors by Gentec-EO. These devices were specifically designed for high-energy, solid-state lasers. Thanks to a proprietary ab sorber that dif- fuses the measured beam and absorbs it in a larger volume, the new UP-QED series offers, reportedly, the highest damage thres holds on the market. The modular design
allows customers to choose the cooling unit (simple con- vection, heat sink, forced air or water-cooled) to reach up to 300W average power. There also are various out- put options. Users may con- nect the detector to one of Gentec-EO’s displays and PC interfaces with the standard DB15 output, or choose an all-in-one detec- tor with integrated meter for other output choices, such as USB, RS-232

Intraratio Adds Defect Analysis to RunCard
RoHS
San Diego, CA — Intraratio has upgraded its RunCard manufacturing software to include a new defect sum- mary. The report includes three views: a trend of defects over time, a pareto of defects for scrapped material and a pareto of defects for parts on hold. Users select which parts and/or
timeframe to analyze. The pareto charts can be further sub-grouped by time, job number, part number, and operation. This report gives users an overall view of their factory, showing
where fallout is highest and where best to target improvements. The enhancement is an upgrade
to the standard reporting suite and will be delivered to all customers through an update. Customers can contact the company to coordinate the
upgrade. Contact: Intraratio Corp., 101
