Axminster With many outdoor activities, family attractions and historical sites.
Attractions include the: Minster - in the centre of town.
Old Courthouse - housing the history of the famous Axminster Carpet.
Art Trail - displaying sculptures such as Roger Dean’s ‘Farmer and Cow’.
East Devon Way footpath - passing close by, along with the Buzzard Route cycle track.
Axe Estuary’s mudflats - superb for bird watching and, being central, a base for the fossil beaches at Charmouth, Seaton, Beer and Sidmouth.

Axmouth With trams, shops, good food pubs, a great sea front and a beautiful busy harbour with many moorings, watersports, leisure and fishing boats to hire etc. Te Axe Estuary with its bird population is a twitcher’s paradise and the river at high tide is also great for watersports. People return here several times a year just for the sheer beauty of the area.
