he Isles of Scilly is an island paradise with stunning white sand beaches, azure waters and a wonderful climate where sub-tropical plants thrive. There are five inhabited Islands,


St Mary’s


Tere is a wide range of things to do such as horse riding, cycling, walking (footpaths cross the Islands), boat trips, swimming, and beach and water sports. Visit the many amenities, take in the stunning views or discover your own favourite bay or stretch of sand to relax on and enjoy the slower pace of life, the unique landscape and the warm gulf-stream climate.


St Mary’s


Te largest island and a gateway to the rest, its air and sea links make it a definite first port of call. Hugh Town is the central hub with plenty of amenities including a wonderful museum. Te coastline features dramatic rocky coves, stunning seascapes, amazing archaeological sites and scenic country and coastal walks.


Tere are also three beautiful beaches:


Porthcressa - with a children’s play area close by


Town Beach - a perfect spot to watch the comings and goings on the Quay


Porthmellon - home to the Sailing Centre


Te Penzance ferry docks at Te Quay, where there are boat trips for DAYS OUT and to and from the “off islands”. Old Town, near to the airport, is the other “major” settlement, with a beautiful beach, nature reserve, children’s soft play zone and the Old Town Church where Sir Harold Wilson is buried.
