Stokefleming Near the Dart Estuary and the sixteen mile Dart Valley Trail which runs close to both sides of the River Dart. Tere is the Start Point Lighthouse, nearby Blackpool Sands and Berry Pomeroy Castle, complete with ghosts.

On summer Sundays the TORBAY EXPRESS is steam hauled all the way from Bristol Temple Meads. One of the most enchanting railway journeys in the world, it follows Brunel’s picturesque Great Western Railway across the Somerset levels and around the beautiful Devon coastline to Paignton and Kingswear (where you take the ferry (included in the price) to Dartmouth). Totnes has a wonderful range of cuisine with a focus on locally sourced organic food that is internationally inspired. To visit a vineyard with a tranquil river trip, the Sharpham Vineyard is a two-hour trip starting from
Brixham
Steamer Quay. Other places to visit include Totnes Castle, Elizabethan House, Museum Of Costume, Te Town Mill and Totnes Image Bank. Just outside of the town, Dartington Hall Estate has live events, exhibitions and festivals, shops, extensive grounds and gardens. All of these, plus trips on the River Dart, a steam railway and art galleries etc. make Totnes an interesting town to visit.
