We, Uisce Éireann - Irish Water, are applying to Cork County Council for Permission for the construction of a wastewater treatment facility which includes an Integrated Construction Wetland with a capacity to treat a population equivalent of 1.000, pumping station, rising main, storm water retention tank, outfall pipe, new access road, internal roads, ancillary site development works, below ground utilities, landscaping, the clearance of trees at the site and the demolition of the existing septic tank. The site is located in the townland of Rostellan, Saleen, Co. Cork. A Natura Impact Statement has been prepared in respect of the planning application.
