Group members, their fam- ilies and friends gathered in The Midleton Park Hotel on Saturday 05/12/15 for their annual awards night dinner, the


culmination


of a very busy year for the group with activities includ- ing weekly photo shoots, exhibitions, beginners and advanced courses, competi-


tions and visits by a number of renowned guest speak- ers.


Awards were presented


for best website gallery, best digital panel, best in Cat- egory, best in Grade, best New Photographer and Club Person of the Year. The


prestigious overall


award of Photographer of the Year 2017 went to


Kevin Day LIPF, building on his successes earlier in the year, when he won Gold and Silver medals at the re- gional and national rounds of the Irish Photographic Federation’s Nature Pho- tographer of the Year com- petition. The Group produces an


annual calendar of their member’s images which is


currently on sale at just €5, at several outlets in Mid- leton, or from any of the Group’s members. They meet


regularly at
