13 Cobh’s Eadaoin Scoops Second In County Wide Road And Water Safety Completion

Eadaoin Farrell from Bunscoil Rinn an Chab- hlaigh Cobh, was awarded second place in a county- wide road safety story tell- ing completion. Young


people across


Cork County were encour- aged to get creative as part of Children’s Book Festival week 2017 and spread the message to be road and wa- ter safety aware. The inaugural short story


competition attracted en- tries from over 100 national schools.


Eadaoin’s winning entry was picked from well over 400 entries. The young Cobh student


travelled to County Hall with her parents, school friends and teacher to re- ceive her award, along with six other prize


winners,
