The Untouched Beauty of Greenland, Newfoundland and Labrador
Explore spectacular landscapes and discover UNESCO sites Gros Morne, Red Bay, and L’Anse aux Meadows.
DAY 1: Gateway to Greenland Flight from Copenhagen to Kangerlus- suaq, where you board MS Fram.
DAY 2: Venice of Greenland Maniitsoq, dubbed the “Venice of Greenland”, is spectacularly situated between rugged peaks and huge glaciers.
DAY 3: Well-kept secret Continuing south, we head to Paamiut. The white-tailed eagle is plentiful here, and it is said good luck will come to any- one who sees this king of the sky.
DAY 4: Norse Greenland Igaliku is one of the most beautiful vil- lages in Greenland and has ruins dating back to the Viking Age.
DAY 5: Houses and icebergs In Qassiarsuk, you will find green fields dotted with white sheep, lush vegeta- tion and busy farmsteads – a colourful contrast to the icescapes at sea.

DAY 6: Crossing the North Atlantic Leaving Greenland behind, we head out at sea and set our course for Canada.
DAY 7-9: Coast of Labrador We spend three days exploring the pristine coastline and visiting remote communities.
DAY 10: History and wild nature Located on the edge of the Labrador Sea, Battle Harbour is a nature lover’s paradise.

DAY 11: Vast wilderness and Vikings We arrive in St. Anthony, Newfound- land. Interested in Viking history? Join the excursion to L’Anse aux Meadows, the first known presence of Europeans in America.
DAY 12: Labrador coastal living Red Bay embodies modern coastal living in Labrador.
DAY 13: Gros Morne National Park Scenic Bonne Bay is among Newfound- land’s most beautiful bays and divides Gros Morne National Park in two.
DAY 14: Gulf of St. Lawrence After leaving Bonne Bay, we head into the vast Gulf of St. Lawrence.
DAY 15: France in North America St Pierre and Miquelon comprise North America’s oft-forgotten French enclave and is that nation´s oldest overseas territory.
DAY 16: Past is present Sailing along the eastern shores of Nova Scotia, we head for the island of Cape Breton and the port of Louisbourg.
DAY 17: End of the expedition We arrive in hip and historic Halifax, and it is well worth spending an extra day or two here after disembarking MS Fram.
