The Ultimate Expedition to Antarctica, Falklands and South Georgia
Hike and kayak in Antarctica, see amazing wildlife, explore the Falklands and discover beautiful South Georgia.
DAY 1: Explore the “Birthplace of Tango” Your expedition starts with an overnight stay in Buenos Aires, the bustling capital of Argentina and birthplace of the tango.
DAY 2: Ushuaia
The following morning you fly to Ushuaia. Join an optional excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park, before embarking on MS Fram.
DAY 3: Across the Open Sea We cross the open sea headed towards the Falkland Islands. Enjoy lectures and watch for wildlife on deck.
DAY 4-6: Where Nature Rules The Falklands Islands teem with wildlife and nature. Experience fantastically clear blue skies, seamless horizons and stunning white beaches.
DAY 9-13: Serengeti of the Southern Ocean Explore the unique beauty and wildlife of South Georgia. Its rich whaling and exploration histories complement the rugged scenery, glaciers and abundant wildlife. Known as the Serengeti of the Southern Ocean, South Georgia is a favourite destination for wildlife photographers. You will also see the Norwegian seaman’s church, and the tiny graveyard where the great Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackle- ton is buried.
DAY 14: Towards Antarctica As we continue towards Antarctica you can learn more about the wonders of the “Deep South”, focusing on the great white continent’s history, environment and wildlife.

DAY 7-8: South Atlantic Ocean We spend two days cruising southward to beautiful South Georgia. Participate in pres- entations about the area’s wildlife, as well as its whaling and polar history.
DAY 15-20: Beautiful, Untouched Places Antarctica is different from anything else you will ever experience! Once we cross the Antarc- tic Convergence, you feel the air getting crisper and colder and you start seeing Antarctic pen- guins in the water. When opportunities arise we will launch our kayaks, pitch tents ashore and take you on unforgettable hikes to explore the world’s most beautiful, untouched places.
DAY 21-22: Voyage North On our way back to civilisation, we continue our lecture series and recap our experiences in Antarctica.
DAY 23: Southernmost Town in the World The voyage ends in the world’s southernmost town, Ushuaia, from where you fly back to Buenos Aires.
