you set foot on this endless expanse of snow and ice. Get close to penguins and seals, and enjoy close encounters with other wildlife and glaciers. Visit volcanic Deception Island, photo- genic Half Moon Island, and Cuverville Island, home to the largest known colony of Gentoo penguins. See the stunning scenery at Paradise Harbour, which received its name from whalers during the last century. See Wilhelmina Bay, which is often called “Whale-mina Bay” be- cause of the large number of humpback whales spotted here in the month of December. We offer numerous activities to ensure that you experience Antarctica in the best way possible. One day it may be going ashore to see penguins and hear the crack and roar of glaciers. The next day, it might be cruising between sea ice looking for leopard seals. Another day may entail kayaking or a long hike. For our younger

guests, we have designed the Young Explorer Programme; a fun and scientific introduction to biology, history and wildlife.

DAY 11-12: Heading Back to Civilisation After exploring this exhilarating continent, we set course back to civilisation. Spend the day at sea recapping your experiences, joining inter- esting lectures or just relaxing on deck.

DAY 13: End of the Adventure Sadly, every adventure must come to an end. It is time to say goodbye when we reach Ushuaia and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires.
