The franchisee GCHC are hoping to work in partnership with like-minded entrepreneurial individuals who have a personal stake in developing their own business and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality local care services. A professional background is preferable although not strictly essential. Prior business experience, enthusiasm, a caring attitude and drive to succeed are alternative criteria. A franchisee may be a single business partner or may consist of multiple partners. Franchisees are not restricted to blindly copying the franchise model as they have the freedom and choice to develop their local business in line with their own particular skills and knowledge, the local need and the pace of a fast-moving sector.

and domiciliary care.
Their aim is to establish a national franchise network comprised of individual franchise businesses delivering local healthcare and social care services. GCHC have the experience, skills and resources to deliver a range of services including specialist care services.
The company has a clear focus on
providing high-quality domiciliary and live-in care to the private care market but is also focussed on delivering a range of additional services to multiple markets, including the NHS. The GCHC franchise model is unique in that they will always consider competing for local authority and NHS contracts. The term of these contracts is often a number of years and rates can prove to be very profitable. The potential for increased economies of scale, added profitability, job security and improved financial forward planning means the better local authority contracts are fiercely contested. This

The franchise model There are two models for the GCHC care- at-home franchise: 1. Investor model – The investor uses their capital to employ an experienced manager to manage daily operations of the business. GCHC will assist and provide advice to recruit only the most competent of managers. 2. Manager / investor model – The franchisee has the confidence, experience and ability to manage the business, with support from their mentor. GCHC have no preferred model and will assist the franchisee in delivering high- quality services and achieving growth in both size and profitability.
