Betterclean Services is a management business opportunity with a 15-year heritage, and has now built up a network of franchise owners across the UK, from Glasgow to Brighton, Southend to Swansea, Plymouth to York and Maidstone to Manchester.

The franchise owners that have invested in Betterclean Services were all looking to build a business that they could grow to provide them with a passive income and a great lifestyle. Their backgrounds are varied, generally senior management level from sectors including fashion, pharmaceuticals, public sector, marketing and finance. Their focus is on building their own contract base and securing a residual income. This is very different to many cleaning franchises, where your investment level buys you contracts to manage on behalf of head office in your territory.


Dan comments: “I purposely designed the Betterclean franchise opportunity to allow franchise owners to be a business owner and not a salesperson or manager. There are a lot of franchise opportunities


in the marketplace that will find the work for you, but then all you are doing is managing the cleaning, not owning it and growing the business yourself.” Dan’s ethical approach is evident in his transparent management service fee (MSF / royalties) –just 5.75 per cent of sales. This is low for the franchise industry and there are no extra levies or national funds that franchise owners need to pay into. All equipment and supplies are passed on at cost, with franchise owners saving even further as a result of the economies of scale afforded by being part of a national bfa-accredited franchise network. The total initial investment is £32,000 plus vat to set up your business. The amount of working capital you will need is then calculated based on your personal business plan. Applicants must fit certain criteria in order to succeed as a Betterclean Services franchise owner.
