Sequence valves Tis type of valve determines the sequence of operations in the hydraulic system.
Cylinders/actuators
Cylinders or actuators are parts of the hydraulic system used to activate the part that performs the work done by the hydraulic pump.
Fluid or hydraulic power actuators can be classified into two groups: • Linear actuators are used to move an object or apply force in a straight line. Te basic linear actuator is a cylinder that can be divided into single acting or double acting cylinders.
• Rotary actuators are used to move an object in a circular path. Rotary actuators are the fluid power equivalent of an electric motor.
