Cautious and precise installation is of great importance for incident-free operation and long life. Te following factors should be carefully observed:
• Shaſt alignment Ensure that all shaſts are parallel and level. Check alignment with a spirit level. Te shaſts should be supported by sufficiently strong bearings to avoid any displacement during operation.

• Sprocket mounting Align the sprockets precisely on the shaſts. Check with a straight edge or a piece of string held against the sides of the sprocket face. Inaccurate alignment of sprockets will cause abnormal wear on the chain link plates and on the sides of the sprocket teeth. Inspect occasionally during the working life for such wear.
