IAGA SUMMIT New York 2017

offer an insightful look into how “digital assassins” destroy brands and reputations and how gaming companies can best protect themselves from online and other digital attacks.

“Our extensive and thought-provoking 2017 Summit program focuses on internationally- relevant gaming issues and provides our delegates with an unmatched opportunity to expand their knowledge about these issues while growing their relationships with global colleagues,” commented Michael Cohen, IAGA President. “Each critical issue will be addressed first with valuable insight provided by topic experts, and then will be expanded by the insight of the world-class audience. I look forward to welcoming our delegates to New York City and our International Gaming Summit this May.”

Te Summit also features two full-day workshops focusing on responsible gaming and regulatory compliance issues. Held Tuesday, May 30, the Global Responsible Gaming Forum takes a comprehensive look at the challenges the industry faces as it ensures that players gamble responsibly while discussing some of the latest developments worldwide. Te Forum includes sessions focused on the responsible gaming consequences of new technology and technology providers, the latest in responsible gaming research and the importance of proactive responsible gaming employee training and awareness. Available to all Summit attendees, the Forum is a must-attend for anyone in the gaming industry who wants to broaden their knowledge and understanding of responsible gaming best practices and advancements.

Tuesday’s second full-day workshop, the GLI University Regulator’s Seminar, includes sessions focused on current regulatory issues like the challenges new online gaming channels present to both traditional land-based operators and regulators, how domestic gaming jurisdictions reign in illegal gaming behavior and protect the gaming activity occurring within state borders, and current technology advancements in Europe and Asia. Offered by Gaming Laboratories International, the GLI University Regulator’s Seminar is an excellent opportunity for Summit attendees to delve deeper into specific gaming product regulation issues.

“Our 2017 program agenda focuses on critical issues facing gaming, with the discussions benefitting from the deep experience of our international panelists,” said Mark Clayton, a shareholder with Greenberg Traurig and co- chair of the International Gaming Summit committee. “As gaming continues to expand globally, staying abreast of critical issues like the latest anti-money laundering and financial crime prevention initiatives or the challenges faced by operators when evaluating player data and data privacy protections is critical to operating successfully in our diverse and changing industry.”

Lynne Levin Kaufman, Summit committee co- chair and Partner with Cooper Levenson, further explained that “we have really focused this year’s agenda on topics of international importance that are explored by experts from multiple gaming jurisdictions, providing our attendees with comprehensive insight into each issue. So many of the issues faced by global gaming executives in one territory are also being

considered in other jurisdictions, and being able to discuss the challenges and solutions as a group provides an invaluable benefit to the industry.”

Tis year’s International Gaming Summit’s comprehensive program is accentuated by daily networking events, beginning with an opening cocktail reception held in the Art Deco room at the JW Marriott Essex House. On Wednesday, we’ll host a second evening networking reception at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park where, perched on the edge of the lake, our delegates will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while overlooking the tranquil park. We’ll conclude the Summit with our annual President’s Reception and Dinner at Te Metropolitan Club, a private club overlooking Central Park from its prestigious location on Fifth Avenue and Sixtieth Street. Founded in 1891 by a group of New York gentlemen prominent in the city’s civic, commercial and financial life, the Club’s first President was JP Morgan and paintings of many of its historic members grace the club’s walls.
