Rolling Thunder All Skills Volleyball Camp The Rolling Thunder All Skills Camp will focus on fundamentals and basic techniques for all the skills used in the sport of volley- ball. Specifically, we will cover serving, setting, hitting, passing, and blocking. Emphasis during the setting portion will concen- trate on proper footwork patterns, hand positioning, and set location. The hitting portion will focus on the skills and techniques needed to become a dominating hitter. The defense segment of the camp will focus on the technical aspects of the underhand pass. Defense Volleyball Camp The Rolling Thunder Attacking and Defense Camp will focus on the proper techniques needed to become a dominant attacker. Emphasis will be placed on the timing, approach, and arm swing necessary for one of the most exciting skills in volleyball. The defense portion will focus on the technique needed to get to and pass the tough balls either on defense or on serve receive. Football Camp Are your kids ready for some flag football this summer? The Round Lake Youth Flag Football League (RLYFFL), partnered with the NFL Flag football program, is holding its first annual flag football summer camp. The RLYFFL is a local non-profit organi- zation whose purpose is providing a fun, positive and competitive environment where young athletes can learn and improve on the basic fundamentals of football. During this week long camp play- ers will participate in various non-contact football activities, drills and games. All participants will receive an NFL Flag reversible jersey in the NFL team of their choice, an NFL Flag football belt, an NFL football, a drawstring bag and a mouth guard (recom- mended to wear at camp).
