Member Programs
Happy Seniors’ Club This energetic group will keep you on your toes enjoy- ing music, lively chatter and interesting programs with refreshments. The annual $8 membership fee is separate from the Senior Center member- ship fee, The Happy Seniors Club meets on Tuesdays from 12:30 - 3:00 pm.
Lunch Program for 60+ Seniors Join us at the Park District for lunch on Tuesdays. Meals will be promptly served at 11:45 am and a donation of $5.00 is suggested; however, no one will be denied a meal due to inability to pay. We need one week advance notice, so please register in person or call 847-546-8558. Meals will be provided by Catholic Charities and you’ll need one of their cards for this lunch program. Paperwork is available at the Senior Center.
S.A.L.T. (Seniors And Law Enforcement Together) Meetings are held the second Friday of each month at the Round Lake Beach Police Department, 1947 Municipal Way, Round Lake Beach, (across from the Post Office). Call Tom Finnegan at 847-546-2351 for information. Become an active part of the community!
Membership Fee
There is a $10 fee for a one-year membership for all who visit the Senior Center, aged 50 and over. Membership goes from January to December. The Senior Center is located at the Robert W. Rolek Community Center at 814 Hart Road in Round Lake. The Senior Center is open Monday-Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Membership to this club is open to all seniors. Some activities included in this membership are mah jongg and pinochle. Programming options such as lunch, yoga, walking club, bingo, trips and exercise classes are available for an additional fee. A schedule of Senior Center events and activities can be picked up at the Robert W. Rolek Community Center.
Get in the Swing with our Birthday Party/Dance
Enjoy this monthly celebration complete with a three- piece band for your dancing and listening pleasure, plus refreshments. Take your chance on the “50/50” Raffle (3 tickets for $1). Proceeds go to seniors for future programs. Fee is payable at the dance. Anyone who is attending the dance with a birthday in the given month will be admitted free of charge.

Pace Bus Services PACE Bus has ADA-accessible options for those who no longer wish to drive. Dial-a-Ride is available Monday - Friday, 6am to 6pm; and Weekends, 8am to 5pm. Call 1-800-244-7223 at least 24 hours in advance to arrange for this service. Prices range from $3 - $6 depending on distance. Round Lake Area Call-n-Ride is also available for $1.75 one way Monday - Friday, 6am to 6:15pm, within certain boundaries. Reserve 1 hour in advance by calling 1-847-847-9169. Visit
