Young Rembrandts Classes


Young Rembrandts Preschool Drawing (3.5 - 5yrs) Preschoolers are eager to learn and a joy to teach. Each week we draw something young artists are interested in: fish, teddy bears, rainbows, cowboys, etc. We’ll concentrate on the techniques of drawing and coloring, but also work on fine motor skills, focus, listening, staying on task, spatial organization and patience. All materials are supplied. Min/Max: 6/10.


Young Rembrandts Elementary Drawing (6 - 12yrs) Young Rembrandt’s innovative, step-by-step method can teach any child to draw, regardless of artistic ability. New subject matter will be explored each week such as: animals, land- scapes, still lifes, even art history. Classes feature a positive nurturing environment resulting in increased skill and self-confidence. All materials are supplied. Min/Max: 6/10.

Lights, Camera, Star Wars Do you want to be the next George Lucas? We will create our very own Star Wars movie using special digital movie making cameras and software. As directors and producers we will work in teams to create our own story and script, then film our own movie. We will use graphic editing techniques, stop motion an- imation, and add background noise and music. All students will get a copy of their movie, after class is complete. Min/Max: 6/12.
