Join us for some food and fun as we come together to eat lunch and see the newest movie releases at the Marcus Cinema in Gurnee. We will meet at the Park District and travel to a local restaurant for lunch, and then it’s on to the show! Fee includes the cost of the movie and transportation. Lunch will be on your own. Yoga for Seniors Develop skills that promote holistic health and well-being. Yoga can have positive effects on heart, mind, body, and soul. Students of all levels of experience with yoga (including no experience) are invited. Exercises include breathing, toning and tightening, stretching and relaxing. Exercises will be done with a chair. So, come for contentment of heart, peace of mind, relaxation of body and quietness of spirit. The instructor, Carol Kiraly, has over 20 years of experience practicing and sharing yoga. Arthritis Exercise Class The Arthritis Exercise Program can help people with arthritis keep moving and stay active! It is designed specifically for people with arthritis. The program uses gentle activities to help increase joint flexibility, range of motion, and muscle strength. You will be doing exercises while seated on a chair or standing with a chair for sup- port. Exercises include gentle stretching, strengthening and fit- ness. Seniors should wear comfortable non-slip shoes and loose clothes. It’s time to get up and get moving. Registration deadline: One week prior. Min/Max: 5/25. PD Contact: Marianne Heinze.

Senior Walking Club Enjoy the indoor walking space in the Community Center Gym. Walking is an excellent exercise to get yourself fit and stay healthy.
