Spring Theatre Performances Rising Stars: Cinderella Kids
Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the royal ball. With a little help from her mice friends - and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother - Cinderella’s dreams come true! She goes to the ball, meets the Prince and falls in love!

James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, and discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach that rolls into the ocean and launches a journey of enormous proportions. James befriends a collection of singing insects that ride the giant peach across the ocean facing hunger, sharks and plenty of disagreements along the way.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II”, after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivorous plant promises unending fame and fortune to Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it - BLOOD. Over time though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out-of-this-world origins and intent towards global domination!
Performance Dates: Friday, June 23 at 7:00pm; Saturday, June 24 at 2:00 & 7:00 pm; Sunday, June 25 at 2:00 pm
Tickets are $5 for James and the Giant Peach, Jr. and Cinderella Kids, performances will be at Park School, 400 W Townline Rd., Round Lake. Little Shop of Horrors tickets are $10, performances at Round Lake High School.
Bring your flashlight and running shoes!
The Easter Bunny is making a nighttime special delivery of goodies and treats. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served after the egg hunt. Please dress for the weath- er, this event will be held outdoors. Hunt will start at 8:00 pm. Min/Max: 1/100. PD Contact: Megan Kile.
