Poms and Baton Twirling: Age 5-12 years. This class includes introductory poms and baton twirling. Learn some new dance and pom moves in a group pom routine. You”ll learn the basics of baton twirling, and a simple twirling routine; The instruc- tor will measure for proper baton sizing on the first day of class. Please wear athletic or dance clothing and shoes (i.e., shorts, leotards or sweat pants and gym or dance shoes). Min/Max: 4/12.
Introduction to Baton Twirling: Age 6-17 years. Baton twirling encourages poise and balance, in addition to pro- moting self-esteem and developing coordination. Students will learn beginner through intermediate baton twirling skills in a new routine. Min/Max: 4/12. No class 4/1.
Semi-Private Baton Lessons: Age 5+. Baton students will be provided intense training in the basics of baton twirling solo, strutting, etc. The personal attention needed to improve their twirling and/or prepare for competition/performance. Call Jessica Desens at 847-546-8558 x247 for more information. Times are scheduled by INSTRUCTOR ONLY. Students can choose one half-hour or one one-hour lesson per week. Lessons are payable on a 4-week basis. Participants may start or stop their lessons whenever they choose in 4-week blocks.
Baton Twirling for Preschoolers: Age 3-5 years. Students will learn beginner baton twirling skills in a new routine, specifically for preschoolers. No Class 3/29.
