The ABU President, Mr Cho Dae- hyun shared views to further strengthen future activities of the ABU. As indicated during the last General Assembly in Macau, Mr Cho Dae- hyun, re-confirmed his full support towards the ABU and its future planning. He also expressed his full confidence in the ABU Secretariat.

PSG Meeting in Japan T

he mid-year Planning and Strategy Group (PSG) meeting was hosted by NHK, Japan in Sendai on 14th March.


18 members of the ABU “think-thank” discussed about the new ABU Organisational Charter for the Secretariat and were briefed on the Video and Photo Archives project. The Planning and Strategy Group also prepared a recommendation to modify the membership subscription groups and to draft amendments to the ABU Statutes that will be submitted to the Administrative Council for their consideration.


The PSG is the advisory body to the Administrative Council and the ABU Secretariat.


It meets twice a year to develop proposals and recommendations to the Administrative Council for the future direction and strategy of the Union.
