on “The Alibaba IPO: Leveraging Opportunity and Law in a Global Market.” The panel will be com- prised of Professor John A Burgess (Executive Director of the Fletcher LLM Program) and Dr. Bhaskar Chakravorti (Senior Associate Dean for International Business and Finance at Fletcher), and will be moderated by Fletcher alumnus Ravi Chaturvedi, Research Scholar at the IBGC and co-author of the recently published Mastercard- Fletcher Digital Evolution Index.

For the Spring 2015 semester, we of the Fletcher ILS hope to continue to leverage the expertise of Fletcher faculty. In particular, we are fortunate to be hosting leading scholars on post-conflict rec- onciliation and justice, Professors Cecile Aptel and Kimberly Theidon. The ILS also aims to or- ganize, potentially as ILSA grant events, panels at the upcoming Tufts Energy Conference and/or the Fletcher Africana Conference. Our objective will remain, in keeping with the tradition of legal education at The Fletcher School, to explore the areas of interface between law, policy, politics, governance, business and security, as embodied in the evolving challenges faced across nations and sectors in the 21st century.

The ILSA Chapter at Interamerican University School of Law was established on October 20th, and has now entered in an exciting stage of development. We have kept busy! We at- tended International Law Weekend, “Law in a Time of Chaos”, which has enriched our aware- ness of International and Comparative Law. The Chapter ILSA-INTER had a successful campaign, as we have now more than 50 members who

have joined. During that time, ILSA-INTER has increased the awareness and knowledge of inter- national law among students. For the first time during the fall of 2015, our school is offering a J.D. program in English, which is a unique program geared toward enhancing inclusion and diversity in legal education and within the legal profession (to learn more please visit our webpage (http:// www.derecho.inter.edu/).

The future goals of ILSA-INTER are to carry out several activities such as academic conferences on international law, international community ser- vice, fraternizing with international leaders and ambassadors, and providing publications related to international law.
