The Summer Program in Europe introduces law students and attorneys to evolving legal concepts and structures in Europe and in the international arena. The program focuses on the nature and dynamics of European legal institutions and the development of a body of European laws.


This 3-credit ABA-approved program introduces law students to European Union business law issues in Brussels and the trade dispute system of the World Trade Organiza- tion in Geneva. Visits to international institu- tions and lectures by leading officials and top international practitioners allow participants to explore international legal careers.


The international Master’s program in Crimi- nal Justice, Governance and Police Science is a two-year distance-learning course. The study curriculum offers eight unique mod- ules, which allow you to experience recent groundbreaking developments in criminal justice, governance and police science with particular focus on international security and justice perspectives.


The Law School is located in the historic center of the city of Ghent, Belgium. The University’s Law School presently offers professional degrees in law, criminology, and notarial practice as well as postgraduate programs in European law, the Economic analysis of law, business law, environmen- tal law, port and maritime sciences, and criminology.
