Istanbul is the only city in the world located in two continents, and the influence of Europe and Asia, as well as the city’s rich and turbulent history, permeate the city. American law students will study with Turkish law students who add immeasurably to the comparative and international law experience.
The summer program in Turkey gives students an international view of legal issues relevant to Turkey, Central Asia, and the Middle East, focusing on the social and political developments in those regions, including human rights, environment, and se- curity issues.
