The LSU Law Summer in Lyon Program is designed to incorporate study and travel. Structured as two 3-week sessions, students can choose to attend classes in either or both of the sessions, while still having plenty of time to enjoy the sites in Lyon, France and traveling in the surrounding area or in other countries in Europe.


Courses offered in the Nice Program have an international focus and compare American and European approaches to law. All classes are conducted in English, and none of the courses offered has prerequisites. Classes meet four times per week, Monday through Thursday. Each course in the program is rated at two credit hours, involving fourteen 100 minute sessions of instruction and a two hour examination.
